Last year, some 15 NGOs and 30 Rotary Clubs in District 3300 received some 200,000 free uncooked meals for distribution to their favourite beneficiaries.
This year, the Main Sponsor has again roped Rotary in to organise the largest charity meal-packing event in the history of Rotary in Malaysia – a whopping 240,000 meals within 6 hours on Saturday 28th June 2014 at Sunway Pyramid. To help out with this mammoth task, the Rotary Club of George Town and the Rotary Club of Pudu have partnered to jointly organize this event “STOP Hunger Now 2014”.
If there any Rotaract Clubs who wish to receive these free meal boxes (raw and uncooked) for distribution to their favourite charities as part of their Club Project, they are requested to apply for the free uncooked meals before the 19th June 2014. This offer is on a first-come-first served basis while stocks last. Successful Clubs must collect their allocation between 2pm – 5pm on the 28th June 2014 at LG2, West Wing, Sunway Pyramid.
Rotaract Clubs who are interested to be involved in the meal-packing event are to fill up their names in the Volunteer Forms. Flexible age groups from 8 – 70 years old are welcomed to take part. Those interested to volunteer must commit a minimum of 90 mins or 3 hours for the event. All volunteers are to register their names before the 19th June 2014. After the 19th June, the Organizing Committee will open up to volunteers from the public.
Clubs that are interested to apply for the free uncooked meals and/or volunteer for the meal-packing event are to contact the Organizing Chairman, PP Donny Law at

Please take note that Clubs that listed out the names of the beneficiaries stand better chances of receiving their allocations than those without any names.
